IN2CCAM showcases cross-project collaboration at EUCAD 2025

This week, the IN2CCAM project took part in the 5th European Conference on Connected and Automated Driving (EUCAD), continuing its active engagement in shaping the future of CCAM in Europe.

Held from 13 to 15 May at the Joint Research Centre (JRC) in Ispra, Italy, EUCAD 2025 brought together policymakers, industry leaders, and researchers to discuss the latest developments in connected and automated mobility. The conference was co-organised by the European Commission, the FAME project, and the CCAM Partnership, under which IN2CCAM is funded.

As part of the Exhibition Area, IN2CCAM was presented alongside its sister project CONDUCTOR, showcasing their contribution to the deployment of CCAM services and technologies, a strategic priority for the European Commission. With both projects approaching completion, EUCAD served as an ideal platform for cross-project exchange, enabling IN2CCAM to share insights, build synergies, and stay aligned with the broader goals of the CCAM Partnership.

The event was a golden opportunity for the IN2CCAM, FRODDO, CONDUCTOR, PoDiUM and Augmented CCAM projects, all under the Cluster 4 of the CCAM Partnership, to strengthen synergies around the integration of CCAVs in the transport system. Interactions with other related CCAM projects from the Partnership at ECUAD showcase IN2CCAM’s commitment to collaborating across initiatives, ensuring knowledge transfer, and reinforcing a unified European approach to CCAM deployment. The project actively contributes to the Partnership’s vision of safer, more inclusive, and sustainable mobility by providing real-world insights from its six Living Labs and technical expertise on different use cases.

Looking ahead, IN2CCAM will participate in the ITS European Congress 2025 in Seville, where it will present technical results from some of its work packages, continuing to drive the conversation from research to real-world application.
