IN2CCAM General Assembly: Reflecting on the journey, shaping what comes next

The IN2CCAM team has returned to Turin, a city that has played a pivotal role within our project, testing and demonstrating CCAM services in real-world conditions. Just last March, Turin’s Living Lab hosted its final Awareness Event, the last in a series of six held across our Lead and Follower Living Labs. These events have been crucial in engaging stakeholders, gathering feedback, and showcasing the progress of each site.

This week, we were hosted by our partner LINKS Foundation for our 5th General Assembly. As the project’s end is getting closer, we took time to reflect on the journey so far and prepare for the final steps. We explored how each Living Lab has contributed unique perspectives and use cases to CCAM testing. Despite regulatory and technical challenges, all Labs have collected valuable data to support scalable deployment.

In the coming months, the project consortium will focus on a comprehensive assessment of project outcomes. Efforts across multiple work packages will be consolidated to refine key lessons, produce actionable recommendations, and generate knowledge assets that support future CCAM deployment. This final phase will prioritise the validation of KPIs, thorough documentation of barriers encountered and how they were addressed, and the development of legacy pathways through joint exploitation strategies, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), and the open dissemination of both achievements and challenges.

Throughout the project, IN2CCAM has aimed to go beyond technical demonstration, fostering more efficient, sustainable and inclusive mobility, and building practical foundations for the real-world deployment of CCAM services. As we approach our Final Event, we’re taking the opportunity to reflect on what we’ve learned together through trials, collaboration, and continuous dialogue across our Living Labs. These insights will help inform not only the project’s final outcomes but also the next steps for those working to bring CCAM solutions closer to everyday use.
